Changing defaults globally

How can I apply a specific duration or motion setting globally across
multiple pictures in my picture story project? For example, rather than
have to modify the duration setting from 4 to 5 picture by picture, I'd like
to just define it once and apply it globally across all the pictures. Please
advise ASAP.
