Hai I've Win Xp Home edition which came along my Sony PC.
I would like to change the default position of My Music
in Start from my C drive to D. How do I do that. I hear I
can change the My documents by going to the
Folder/Properties but how do I do the same with My
pictures and My Music.

Thanks.

Nash,

Open a My Computer window and navigate to the location where you'd like My
Music (or My Pictures) to reside. Then, open the My Documents folder in a
different window. Drag the My Music (or My Pictures) folder to the other
window, and Windows XP will update all of the references to that folder to
the new location, including the Start menu.

After I do that can I go and delete the My Music folder
in the C and in future the default My Music folder will
be the one in D.

If it did in fact move it, there should not be two copies of the folder.
Try using the right mouse button to drag the folder this time and choose
'Move Here'. Confirm any file replacements, and My Music should no longer
show up under C.

Note: If there is currently say d:\My Music, don't drag the My Music from C
to D:\My Music, or it will move it to D:\My Music\My Music. Make sure you
drag it to D:
