- is that possible? Becouse I really prefer Tahoma. When I switch to Verdana
thru [Format > Font] - it still switches back every time I start the document
again. Ani ideas? Thank you.

You need to set Notepads Registry settings to save settings:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Notepad]
"StatusBar"=dword:00000001
"fSavePageSettings"=dword:00000001
"fSaveWindowPositions"=dword:00000001

The key valiue here to add is fSavePageSettings, the others save Window
Positions and Showing StatusBar

Hmmm. On Notepad on my XP Pro system, there is a font choice under
the Format pull-down menu, along with a choice to turn word-wrap on
and off. Works just fine for me, as I prefer Courier New 10 pt.

If you disagree ... please disagree right out ... I don't know if you're
joking, sarcastic or what?

I misread the problem and misinterpreted Page Setup under File menu with
Font setup as well.
Since the person said that the Font kept changing even after changing under
Format | Font ... I thought it was due to that key.

It's not ... only for permanently saving Page Setups variables.

I just noticed that you have that Salutation on all of your responses ... it
is very misleading to newbies ... don't know if you're kidding or being
sarcastic.

Sorry.

not joking and not sarcastic, but I don't recall the OP (you?)
mentioning an O/S so I just said "works for me!"
