That doesn't seem to be the case with Outlook 2000.
There's no mention of defaults, that I can see.
Even when you've got it sending from your
preferred "default", how do you gently guide it to send
from a different e-mail address? I know that if you set
it for Internet Only and don't use Word as the editor,
the "Send" button then has a little arrow that offers you
the choice of e-mail addresses. I need Corporate or
Workgroup though, and then it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Yes...depending on what version you can do it
differently... but probably just go to tools....email
accounts......view or change existing accounts....and
click on the one you want to set as default and click set
as default!
