Changing date to long name

Hello,

I am working on a project that requires the date field (when doing the
mail merge) to show the date of the year as January 25, 2005. My table
has the field formatted as 01/25/05. I looked in the help and couldn't
find anything. Would this be something that I would do in a query,
because it WILL be the query that I'll be using for the mail merge.
