User has linked to two Oracle tables. Both tables are
keyed within Oracle with fields define as Number(10).
When the user attempts to use these two linked tables in
an Access query, Access complains that the two keys are
not of the same data type. Viewing in design mode, one
linked table key is defined as Number (which is correct)
the other is defined as Text (not the correct data type).
Attempted to recreate the problem in a test Access db and
was able to reproduce it. Both of my keys are Number.
Compared our ODBC drivers and we appear to be using the
same one.
The user claims that a person down the hall is
experiencing the same issues.
I'm stumped. Any ideas?
