changing computers

I'm buying a new computer. Can I use my old windows xp (unistalled) on my new pc? I know I can't have it on 2 computers, but can I uninstall on my old pc and install on my new pc? My new pc doesn't come with an OS.
 
Hi,

As long as it is a retail version, sure. You may need to phone in
activation, but it's not a big deal. If it came preinstalled on the old
system, or you bought an OEM disk, then you will probably not be able to
install and activate it on the new system.
