I have, for example, a list of songs.
When viewing the songs, the columns are listed as
"NAME OF SONG"
"NAME OF FOLDER"
"SIZE"
"NAME OF ARTIST", etc.

Is there ANY way to "sort" and change the different columns ?? ...
as if it was a list of data ??

I'm wanting to rearrange the list by the name of the artist, then name of
song, etc.

---Thanks for your help---

How's about letting the readers of your post know what app you are
using in reading these columns. Like Windows Explorer, WMP10 music
library, Now Playing directory, MusicMatch, WinAMP, disk drive, etc.???

Hello Byte ....

It would be just using Windows Explorer ....
When I open the folder, this is where the "outline" opens up showing the
contents, which gives the headers and headers info., working my way down in
the Windows listings until I find the "group" of songs.

I can then go to "View", and scroll down to "Choose Details", and that gives
me the attributes that will appear, but the "headings" determine what (and
where) the headings/groups will be listed.

Thanks for your assistance.

OK, on the same line as the column headings, rightclick an empty area
to the right and you'll see all the column headings you can add. You can also
click each column heading to change the sort.

I opened the list, and it did show the different columns.

One thing I happened upon, I LEFT clicked/held the cursor over the column I
wanted, and used the drag and drop method and it did move the columns.

Thanks Byte for your reply and assistance.

Byte ...
I'm trying to click on "yes" for "post being helpful to you?", but it
doesn't give the green shadow on your name ...
IF it doesn't show, I still vote "yes" for being helpful.
