I need to split one of the states (map on power point) and use two
different colors to highlight the terriorty.is your map a ClipArt (= vector graphics) or a bitmap? Do you need a
vertical or horizontal splitting or a more complicated line?
If it is a vector graphics ClipArt, which you can ungroup, you can do the
following for a simple vertical/horizontal split:
- Ungroup the ClipArt
- Click on the state you need splitted
- Copy the state and place it exactly over the original
- From the graphics tool bar choose the cropping icon
- reduce one copy of the state from one side as needed
- reduce the other copy of the state from the other side as needed
- color them differently.
If you need a more complicated border between territories, you could also
work with two copies of the state, but click on "Edit points" and edit the
border line.
Holler back, if you need more detailed information.
Kind regards,
Ute
