Changing Calendar Icons

A friend told me there was a way to download custom icons for use as calendar
reminders in Outlook, but I just can't find anything on the website. Does
anyone know how I could go about doing this?

FYI - We are nursing students, and she said she uses a stethoscope icon for
the days we work in the hospital, etc.

Any help would be appreciated!
 
Outlook doesn't support custom icons in the day/week/month view.
