Changing Bottom Print Margin

It seems as though each time I change the Bottom margin
for a report it changes is back to a specific margin.
Example, I change the bottom margin to be .75 or 1 inch,
but it continues to change back to 2.6666 inches.

Anyone had that problem or is there any way that I can
make a modification and it stays as modified?

It might be because the printer has that area set as not being printable.
The last 3 days I've spent hours fighting with a similar thing. This is
something for you to try if you are on windows xp. No guarantees but it
might help.

In windows under printers and faxes click on file, then server properties.
Create a new formwith the margins adjusted like you want. Then create a new
printer and set that form size as the default for the print.
this can be done by right clicking the new printer, properties, advanced
tab, printing defaults button, paper/quality tab, advanced button, and
setting a papersize for this new printer.

I know this has been a pain just to test out some theory that MIGHT work.
But we are almost done.

Open your form in design view. click on page setup, page, use specific
printer, select the printer you just added with the custom form, then click
on the margins tab and try entering the values you want.

Hope this helps.

That is probably the minimum bottom margin allowed by the printer driver. You
cannot change that, but you could check with the manufacturer's web site (if
available) for any driver updates (or alternate drivers) that might be more
flexible.
