Every network adapter has a MAC (Media Access Control) address burned
into it. In general, it isn't possible to change that address.
Why does your ISP say that you need to change your MAC address?
If you have a broadband router, you can "clone" the MAC address of one
of the attached computers, so that the router appears to have the same
MAC address as the computer. If that's the case, consult your
router's documentation.
