changing a link to a pix file

I'm using Power Point 2002. I want to change a link to a picture file but am
having problems. According to 'Help', I should click 'Edit/Links' however
'Link' is dimmed. What am I missing?

Edit Links lets you edit OLE links but not links to pictures.
