Hunter [MVP] Jan 20, 2006 #2 As long as the DC isn't running Exchange or as a CA, it's a relatively simple matter to rename a 2003 DC: http://www.petri.co.il/windows_2003_domain_controller_rename.htm If your DC is a Certificate Authority or is running Exchange Server, it cannot be renamed without completely rebuilding the server and re-creating the CA and Exchange installs.
