Changes in AD

I have a Windows Server 2003. When i make changes in users in AD it takes so
long before they are effective, like changing password on user. Can i do
something to speed this up.

What does your Site & DC connections & replication infrastructure look like?

If you have 2 (or a few) DCs in one LAN it should all be ready in under 5
minutes
(more like 30 seconds probably with Win2003).

If you have the clients in a different site it could be hours (based on your
Site Links.)
