Changed to MSHOME WORKGROUP

I was trying to network my work Windows 2000 laptop to
work with XP Professional. I changed my network settings
from my work domain to MSHOME. I rebooted the laptop and
now can't even get to my desktop. Windows asks for my
login name and password and doesn't accept my old log in
name & password from work or my MSHOME login name and
password. How can I reset to old settings? Thanks.
 
You need to login as the local administrator (set during install) then
rejoin it to the old domain

Only reply by newsgroup. Any emails I have not authorized are deleted
before I see them.

Thanks for your post. How do I do that? Should I see my
network administrator? When i get the sign on screen, it
doesn't even give me the option for a domain.

It won't, since you have disjoined yourself from the domain. The local
Administrator account and password is the key here, you need to get that
information from your Administrator, then explain what you did, and (s)he
should be able to join you to the domain again
