Hi - using Win2000Server on a domain - I changed the security settings for
one folder - allowing administrator, myself and a couple of others full
rights and removing everyone else's rights.
Now I can't access the folder (access denied) even when logged in as one of
the users I gave permission to.
Logged on as administrator (which I was logged on as when I changed the
settings) I get the message "You do not have permission to view but can make
permission changes".
No matter what I try though I cannot change permissions - ultimately
everything I try results in "access denied".
What can I do? I will settle for a way to simply delete the folder.

You have to seize ownership of the folder. Click Start / Help,
Search tab, type "ownership" and have a good read of the
various topics that apply. This will probably take you less
time then deleting a folder each time something goes wrong!

OK will do.
Thanks.
BTW, the folder was only created this morning and contains one small memo -
that is the only reason I was willing to delete - with any other folder it
wouldn't have been an option. I'm bad.. but not THAT bad :)
