If that is all that changed, you should have received a BCM first use
wizard when you used the new profile for the first time. Did you? What
did you select, the old database?
Finally! Someone having a similar problem to mine!
I had a corrupt user profile and had to create a new one. I've managed to
port all of my messages and contacts over, but when I set up BCM, it didn't
see my old database, my only option was to create a new one.
I can see a .ldf & .mdf file with my previous database name, but I can't
"see" it.
Well...I decided to try something I saw in another post. I renamed my old
database ("bobo") and then was about to create a new database with the old
name when bingo! Bobo showed up. I don't care what the thing is called, it's
working! I hope this helps someone else some day.
