Hello,

I change the email address of a contact in the contact card. No second or
3rd email address.

When I start an email and put in the first two letters of the name in the
To: field I get a list (autocomplete?) and the name is there, but when I
choose it the email address is an old one not the one in the contact card.
There are no duplicates in my contact list and the real name with email
address doesn't show up in the autocomplete list.

How to I get the right name to show up and make the old email disappear
forever???

Thanks,

Rob

The autocompletion cache has nothing to do with your Contacts data.
Remove individual addresses from the autocompletion cache by highlighting
the entry when presented in the suggested names list (use your arrow key to
migrate to the entry) and then hitting your Delete key before you tab out of
the field. If your autocomplete list contains only a single entry, use the
directions here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;289975

To clear the entire cache, follow the instructions here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q287623

Thanks,
Rob
