I changed my administrators name to my name and a new
password, and now it won't let me log in, it
says "invalid". I have to log in as another user and have
no administrator privileges as such. can someone help me?
i thought of doing a system restore, but you need
administrator privileges to do it. HELP!!!.

Dear, Shirly,
I am a wonderful resource, I can show you things you have never thought of,
I know everything there is to know.
If you want to learn, utilize, advertise, etc, all you have to do is use me.
You might even find an application to help you out with your problem, all
you have to do is ask.
LOVE, Google.

Well, I'm asking! Can you help me with my problem?

Alright, since you asked so nicely :)
I was hoping to help lead you into a wonderful resource.
www.google.com/search?q=NT+Password+Recovery

I got this link:
http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/

You need a floppy disk for this tool, and a program called rawrite.
You're going to write the .bin image to the disk, put it in, and reboot your
computer.
It's a linux disk, but don't let it scare you. Follow the directions.
Change your administrator password to blank by using "*".
Write the registry hive, and reboot the computer.
With luck, you should be able to log on as Administrator with no password.

It does work, it's used all over the place.

Good luck, Shirley!
