change windows system name

There are other computers on my home network that have the same system name.
Windows keeps notifying me that there are duplicate system names on a
network. How do I change the system names of my computers so that they all
have different system names?

Right click on My Computer, pick Properties, click on the Computer Name tab,
click on the Change button. Do not change anything other than the name. In
particular do not join the computer to a domain. If it is already joined to
a domain talk to your domain administrator. Do not change the name without
first talking to the administrator.
