I have Win2k.

1) I would like my Windows Explorer to default to start it's search in C:\
Can you please tell me how to do this?

2) When Windows Explorer starts, there is a folder called "my documents". I never use this folder. I
have deleted it many times, but it always comes back. How can I get rid of this?

Thanks much,

1.) Edit the shortcut's "Target" to read
%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,C:\

2.) Control Panel|Folder Options|View, then uncheck the box for "Show My
Documents on the Desktop"
