Does exist a way to change wallpaper from command line ? This depends on
Explorer.exe or a dll ?

Tnx a lot for the tips ^^. I've started working on it. I'm not expert in
using win reg so I think I've already missed something... here's my prompt
result:

C:\Documents and Settings\Max>c:/windows/system32/reg.exe add
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop" /v Wallpaper /t reg_sz /d
"C:\Documents and
Settings\Max\Documenti\Immagini\Sfondi\jlo\lopez1331280x1024.jpg"

Errore: nome chiave non valido > it means: invalid key name, but I think
it's right :|

Regkeys are seperated by baclkslashes.

Xam,

I just came across this software which allows you convert images to BMP.
Haven't tested it yet, but thought it may help.
