Hello, I'm using Windows Xp Pro. Normally when we right click a button in the
taskbar the last option is the close option. But in case of HTML help file
there are some more options. I'm habitual to just click away the last option
to close a program. Can I change the order of this menu?

Hello,

The right-click menu on the button on the taskbar generates the same menu as
when you click on the top-right icon with the application restored.

Some applications further customize it by adding more options, which make it
appear after the Close option hence this problem surfaces.

The short answer is - I don't think its possible.

I really felt sad after reading your reply. Anyway, thanks and please inform
me if you find some information about it in future.

Each application that puts an icon in the system area chooses what
options it wants, and what order they come in.
I agree that most have "Exit" or "Close" or even "Shutdown" as the last
item, and I wish they would standardise.
I also wish that they would standardise on whether to respond to a
single click or a double click when activating the default behaviour.

The answer is to approach the application's writers.

Hello again,
I believe Windows XP is so powerful that almost everything in it is
customizable. Only thing is that it is quite hard to find how to customize it.
