Change the color of only one side of a border

I am working on a report in design view that is tabular. The schematic below
represents a header (Resource Integration) followed by the detail (Section A,
Section B, etc). The Resource Int. field has white font with black fill.
The fields below it have black font with white fill. The border width of the
Res. Int. field is 1. The border color is white. I chose white because
there are additional fields to the right of Res. Int. and the white border
separates them against the black fill. However, when I print the report, the
left side of Res. Int. field is shorter than the length of the fields below
it. This is because the border is white. If I can make the border black on
the left side only, then the field will extend flush with the fields below
it. Additionally, the white border on the right side will be able to
separate one field from the next. I hope i was not too confusing at my
attempt to explain this. Thanks for your help!

Glen

No, a border goes all the way around text boxes and labels.
Without setting up to duplicate your situation, I don't
think you can get away with using the Line method to draw
the borders instead of using each text box's Border
properties.

How about just not using a border on the res int text
box/lable? The left side of the total text box should
suffice as a separator.
