I have a wmv movie clip where the recorded sound wasnt good since it was
originally of poor quality. I have now fixed the sound in another program and
saved it in wav format and it have exactly the same length as before. I then
thought that it was that easy that i in MM just could delete the sound bar
and then just insert this wav file there instead and the program at save
automatically merged that together with the wmv file. But this doesnt seems
to be the case because when i delete the sound clip so does it delete both
the videoclip and the sound clip at the same time and not only the sound, as
i wanted it to do and it feels like i have tried everyting.

I dont know if there might be anything i have missed or something else i
should do to be able to do this or if this is even possible with this program?

With the movie clip on the timeline...
right click the Audio track and choose...Mute.

Now import the updated sound file
and drag it to the Audio/Music track.

Thanks for the answer but I had actually done just that but when i did so
didnt the wav be written to the video. But when i now tried it again so did
it actually work as it should. I have no idee why it didnt do this the first
time but i had restarted my computer before i tried it and it might have been
something to do with that. Thanks for the answer because i thought that i did
something wrong that was the reason that it didnt work.
