in A2K, is there a way to change the text attributes within the same
text box ? For example:

This output: 'The Sixth Sheikh's Sheep is sick.' from 1 text box, but
the word 'Sixth' appearing in Bold type. I know it can be done by
using 3 different text boxes, but I need it to all be in 1 box to
avoid formatting problems when a record is inserted somewhere in the
text. Thanks in advance for any help.

No, you cannot have mixed formatting within an Access control.

You can have mixed formatting if you install a RichTextFormat (RTF)
control.
See http://www.lebans.com
for Stephen Lebans free control.
You might also want to take a look at his MixedBold report. Perhaps
that will be useful to you.
