I have a database which function changed from a weekly report to a daily report and I wanted to change the table name. Is there a way to automatically update all queries, forms and reports that would would be impacted by this name change?

Belinda, if you are using Access 2000 or later, Access will automatically
update related items if you rename a table.

Thank you! Tried it and it works (have Access 2002--guess I should read what's new in Access!)

Interesting, because when I tested it on my Access 2000 machine I ran a
query with no problem, then opened it in design to confirm that it was
seeing the new table name. Well, I guess if you have to open in design view
first...

It appears that one has to open the queries in design mode for Access to
"see" the new table name. If I try to run the query prior to this step, I
just get an error that quotes the previous table name. Is this the correct
procedure or am I doing something wrong?
