change system name

There are other computers on my home network that have the same system name.
Windows keeps notifying me that there are duplicate system names on a
network. How do I change the system names of my computers so that they all
have different system names?

Control Panel>System>Computer Name

Don't make any computer names the same as user account names. IOW, don't
have a user account called "Joe" and a computer called "Joe".
