I found a .wav that I like and want to change the sound for my email. I
added the sound to the file where the "New Mail Notification" sound were.
I've change the sound under the "New Mail Notification" in the list and I
couldn't get the sound to work so I had to change it back to the original
sound. It'll play with iTunes and other music program but it won't play the
from the Test Button. Can anyone help me on this, please?

I don't know what type of file is playing in your ITunes app, but it is
probably something like an MP3, or other file than a .WAV file. There are
sound utilities available that convert mp3's to wav files, and other types,
but these are not part of the Windows OS, and you would need to find a
converter. Determine the filetype, and look for a converter from that to WAV
format. The sound will play in Mail Notification as a WAV file.

Adam is a complete dork of the first water. Ignore the moron.

Thank you for confirming the correctness of that entry in my kill
file.

When I first started monitoring this group a week or two ago I was
overwhelmed by the number of daily messages.

After killfiling Ubuntu morons and anti-MS morons and the morons who
feel a need to continually reply to those morons, it's down to a
manageable number ;-)

After killfiling Ubuntu morons

There are many many Ubuntu users who don't post here - I have used it
successfully in the past and may do so again when Open Office moves even
closer in functionality to Office 2007....

Change "Ubuntu morons" to "Ubuntu morons who continually post about
Ubuntu here".

Better?
