Change shutdown menu??

This is really bothering me X_x

Does anyone know how to change the Shutdown menu to make
it so instead of icons U press to shut windows down, it
gives a scroll menu to select which to do??? I have XP
Professional if it makes a difference

In case its not clear, im talking about when U
click "Start Menu" and then click "Turn Off Computer".
The option screen it gives is three icons of "Stand
By", "Turn Off", and "Restart". I want a scroll menu :[ .
I know it can be done cause i've seen other computers
with XP Pro that have scroll menu when U shut down >_<

Hello Brian,

I suggest you disable the Welcome screen. To do so,

- In control panel, click | User Accounts |
- click "Change the way users log on or off"
- [ ] "Use the Welcome screen"
- [Apply Options]

then report back with your findings in this thread of this
newsgroup.
