Kimberly

I just finished posting a message but I received an error
message, hopefully this one will go through.

I was just recently employed by a small business and one
of my tasks is to administer the computers in the office.
The previous employee who held my position left me the
passwords for all the computers except for one. The OS
for this computer is Win2K, I have the administrators
password, and would like to change/remove the old
password for that computer and provide it with a new one
so that our employees can also access this computer. I
was told that it wasn't that complicated, therefore I
hope someone can help me. I would be glad to answer any
further questions in order to fix this problem.

Thanks for your time.

Kim

Log in with admin prvileges. Right click on My Computer and select Manage.
Go to Local Users and Groups/Users right click the user you want and select
Set Password.

If it's domain accounts that you're trying to administer then go to the
Administrative Tools, select AD Users and Computers and basically follow the
same steps.
