Change PDC Emulator

My first AD Domain Controller was a server that had
Exchange 2k installed. Now i created another AD Server on
the same domain. Do i need to make the new server to be
the PDC Emulator. If so how do i do that.
 
Don't know if you NEED to. The way to move that role is
from the computer to want to move the role to, using the
AD users and Computers snap-in, right click the domain
name, select "Operations Masters", and go to the PDC tab.

You not NEED to do that, and if the secound server is in an other site, i
dosen't recomend to move the PDC role out of the site there the Exchange box
is located,

To beat this thing dead! I will throw in my two cents worth,

Jim and Chriss are both correct. Keep this in mind, though. You do not
*need* to move it at all. Should you, for whatever reason, decide to move
it, though, I would also move the RID Master along with it. In other words,
the PDC Emulator and RID Master FSMO Roles should be held by the same DC. I
do not have any documentation on this so if you ask for it I can not provide
it. I have seen this in a number of different places posted by far smarter
people than I. This reminds me to ask in the MVP group if anyone has any
documentation on this.

Hello, if there is any Exchange Server in the orgnization and the
orgnization has more than one site.

I think PDC Emulator and RID Master FSMO Roles will optimize peformence if
them are on a DC at same site as the exchange server, are i'm correct about
this?

Yes, it is recommended that those two FSMO Roles are on the same DC.
Remember that these are domain-wide roles so this would apply to each and
every domain in the forest.
