IN my contacts the zip code appears before the city and state. How can I
change them back to city ,state, then zip

Appear where? Why don't you just parse the individual address elements
yourself?

Also should have said that it was not always this way, somehow it changed.

When I am looking at my addresses in the home address field when I open a
contact it appears as
street address
zip City, State

You did not state how you entered the address elements. Try what I suggested
and post back.

They were imported from a backed up PST file (from my old computer). Bought
new computer with Vista on it. Using Outlook 2003 and this problem was not on
the old computer and was not initally on the new one. Installed some
automatic updates and this is what happened. Also I have 475 contacts so
parsing each one I'm hoping to avoid unless this parsing is something I can
do to all of them at once.
And explain how to parse in Outlook please.

As we have stated here countless times, there are many reasons why you
should never import Outlook Data. You will invariably lose or corrupt your
data.
Having done so, you now have two choices:
1. Go through and fix each entry one at a time by parsing the address
elements correctly (You click on the respective address button to expose the
fields).
2. Create a new Outlook profile from scratch and this time migrate your
backup data correctly, also posted here many times:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm
http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/HA010771141033.aspx

Resist any future temptation you may have to touch that Import command.
