i've tried to uninstall a program but when i goto the Programs | Change
Remove programs I do not see anything to install the app

I'm confused, you remove or change an application, by Opening Control Panel
Programs > Installed Programs, select the desired application you wish to
Remove or Change. You will see the options displayed on the menu bar,
"Remove", "Change".

Which application are you trying to remove? You can also right click the
application name and choose either Remove or Change. Installing programs are
very easy, you insert disk or navigate to a network resource and launch the
applications executable.

Hi

thanks for the reply, i didn't mean to confuse you, the problem is very
simple although I didn't explain it very well so sorry.

the application i was trying to uninstall was Microsoft Office Professional
2003, the reason was when Vista was installed and i Vista the system was
trying to install MS Office everytime i opened a window so I thought I would
uninstall and reinstall to see if it resolved the problem.

why I wento to uninstall the app although I should have seen the uninstall
options I didn't so I was unable to unistall.

i am having the exact same problem. i have tried to use the cd to repair and
reinstall but there is always a windows installer running in the background
and it interferes with the installation.
c'mon Microsoft gurus Help a Brother out!!!
