change name

We use Outlook for Network interoffice mail. One of our employees has moved on and I need to change the name on that contact. The address list seems to be locked. It won't let me into make any changes or add new contacts. How do I unlock and make these changes?
 
You'll have to explain what kind of address list this is -- Exchange, Net
Folders, LDAP, etc.
