How can I enlarge or in general set the msgbox font? I'd
rather not recreate my own out of a form, I'm looking for a
way to stick with the standard msgbox usage with bigger
fonts.

thanks

Thanks Paul, that's a definate improvement! Still would be nice to actually
change the font to a larger one.

Since Access uses the built-in Windows message box, you can change it
through the Display applet in the Control Panel. Note, though, that this
will change it for every application. As well, if you're thinking of
distributing your application to other users, I wouldn't recommend fiddling
with their settings, as there's probably a perfectly legitimate reason why
they've got them set the way they are.

What's your objection to having your own form? That's a far superior
approach as far as I'm concerned, as it gives you infinite flexibility.

Only one reason, just the keep it simple approach. I've done my own forms
before and I may end up doing that, but the msgbox function already returns
standard values that make it just easier to use for a quick message. If there
was some simple thing (like the @) that could meet the need that would be very
convenient.
