I was without a puter for awhile so i had some 'snapshots' downloaded from my camcorder to a disk.Just tried to download them and realized the company that did it for me, put it in a mpeg form, not jpeg.the snapshot thing is an option i can do while recording. it is just stored in camcorder, not a memory card.NOW i have my grandsons on a very poor quality slideshow, instead of pictures. Is there ANY way to change, or capture frames, or something? Please anyone. These were important memories for the boys as well as Grammy
Thanks for your time

The freeware program IrfanView can extract all the
frames to a folder...then you can view the files and
choose the ones you like.

IrfanView 3.85
http://www.tucows.com/preview/194967.html
(get the plug-ins too)

Open an .mpg file in IrfanView and go to...
Options / Extract All Frames...
Choose a folder to save the files in and click OK.
