I have a Brazillian freind who has just bought a laptop running XP home in
Ireland, default language English.

If he upgrades to Windows Vsta Home Premium will he be able to change the
default language of the PC to Brazillizn (Portuguese). ie to have each of the
options for My Documents, Control panel etc, come up in Brazillian?

Will I be ablre to do this on installation or will it require another
service pack, and will that cost extra?

Any help well received. Paul

You would need to purchase a "Full Portuguese Version" of
Windows Vista and perform a "clean install".

How to install Windows Vista
