I have always used the arrow keys to move from one cell to the next. Today I
have noticed that the same cell remains in the action while the viewable
worksheet moves one cell one way or the other depending on the keyboard key
clicked.

How do I change the option?

Forgot to mention, Office Excel 2007 on Windows Vista Ultimate.

Try hitting the Scroll Lock key on the keyboard.

BTW, does anyone *ever* use the Scroll Lock function deliberately? I've
never found any use for it, myself.

I don't use it -- except by accident.

If I ever had a reason to use it, I haven't remembered it!
