I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and IE7.0.6001.1800
I like to watch youtube and with IE6 I was able to go to the cache and save
some of the funnier clips.
I cannot find the cache in IE7 so I either need help finding the cache or I
want to be able to go back to IE6 if possible.
Help!
Thank you for any ideas.

Download Firefox and then add Download Helper to it and you can download
You Tube videos to your heart's content. You will also have to download
VLC media player to view them.

No, it's not possible to replace Vista's IE7 with IE6. That's the sort
of OS downgrade that's never supported.

On IE7, go to Tools/Internet Options. On the General tab, click Settings in
the browsing history section, then click View Files on that dialog, sort the
files by Last Accessed, and look for the file you're after.

The Op is asking about Internet Explorer. We don't need pay shrills here, as
in thanks but no thanks.

I suspect you meant "shills" but in any case, why don't you just kiss my
ass?

No, I really did mean shrill - as in a useless annoying noise. Um, how much
$$ is Mozilla paying?

As this is a VISTA group and NOT an IE group, then Alias's solution is
perfectly OK. Many people run FF on Vista....
Just be a LITTLE more tolerant of possible non-MS solutions...

I'm tolerant of non-Microsoft solutions but not of people who are paid to
flog Mozilla's excuse for a browser posting their SPAM. You don't need
Mozilla's excuse to download Youtube videos from IE.

Saucy

Well, had you used it as an adjective instead of a noun ... Mozilla
doesn't pay me anything. I was just making a suggestion which would have
solved the OP's problem, something you did not do.

I'm not paid to promote Mozilla. Where did you get that idea. What I
posted was not spam. Where did you get that idea?

Saucy

IE is intermeshed with the OS and is therefore a security risk. Firefox
is not and is therefore safer than IE.

And, btw, you can't download *anything* from IE. That's done *using* a
browser, not *from* a browser.

There you go again. Mozilla's "excuse". FF is better IMHO than IE8......

Then how about providing an answer to the OP?
Digging into the internet cache is pretty silly, when there are other
methods to save the video.
RealPlayer (although bloated) adds a nifty download tab to videos on
webpages that lets you DL the file with a single click.

If you want to be understood, it helps if you try to use proper English
and not substitute adjectives for nouns.

Don't forget the famous quote, "There's not a word in English which can't
be verbed".
