How can I change the"Home Page" in IE8??

I can't find a "tools" tab or a way to change from
(http://www.msn.com) as the "Home Page"..

While in Internet Explorer 8 - press the "ALT" tab - your menu you are
looking for (Tools) should appear along with the rest you arfe used to
seeing (just for a click.)

Also you should have a Tools option anyway.

Right click on the area where you think the menu should be and ensure there
is a checkmark next to "Command Bar" (and/or "Menu bar" if you want
old-school.)

Or... Learn to fish.

Now is a great time to point you to one of the easiest ways to find
information on problems you may be having and solutions others have found:

Search using Google!
http://www.google.com/
(How-to: http://www.google.com/intl/en/help/basics.html )

Using your query...

how do I change the home page in IE8
http://www.google.com/search?q=how+do+I+change+the+home+page+in+IE8

First five hits:

Good luck.

Thanks for the information..

The "alt" key provided a "tools" tab, and from there it was easy to make
the change..

I'll use your friend google more often in the future..

To find the same thing as used to be "Tools" > "Internet Options" from the top menus,
just go to "Control Panel" and choose "Internet Properties" instead!

How can I change the"Home Page" in IE8??

I can't find a "tools" tab or a way to change from (http://www.msn.com)
as the "Home Page"..

Starting with IE 7, it seems that the Menu bar is hidden. Right click
on the tool bars and place a check mark next to the Menu bar. The
menu will from then on.

True!

But, to get to "Tools" > "Internet options" from the top menus IS the same as going
to :

"Control Panel" > "Internet Options"

....and this is true for IE6, IE7, and IE8, in XP, Vista and Win7!!!
