change from fat32 to ntfs

Im upgrading to XP and want to change to NTFS because I
heard that this is better than fat32. I don't want to
lose my data. any ideas

Open a command prompt window. Type the command,
convert c: /fs:ntfs
(assuming you want to convert drive c:). Reboot when it asks. Wait a
bit and it will convert the drive. You data should be safe, but of
course, you'd want to have backups just in case.
