I recently acquired a Dell Inspiron notebook that has
Windows 2000 Server running on it. I am a fairly skilled
PC user but I'm certainly no programmer. How can I
uninstall the 2000 server OS, replace it with XP
Professional, and delete all the old user files?

HELP?

If you dont need any of the data or applications on the laptop then simply
boot off the Windows XP CD, erase the existing partition(s) and start again.
