change font color

I have create a MDI form and a child form.I have a menu with a option to
change the font color to red,blue, or yellow. but for some reason i can't
figure this out.

Set the Forecolor property. I don't know of which control because you didn't
mention it.

The color of which object(s) do you want to change?
 
There is a richtextbox in the middle of the child form. I need to change the
font color of the words in the richtextbox while the program is running.
here is what i have tried so far
