Change field names to 1st record value

I have imported a table from a text file and the first record in the table
relates to the field name.
Unfortunately, what I have imported contains fields called "Field1...Field2,
etc.
I have about 20 tables to import each with about 50-100 fields in each. I
do not want to have to rename each field manually.
Is there a way I can rename the field (Field1, etc.) to the value stored in
record 1 of the same field (ie Record 1 in Field1 contains "ABAN8". I want
Field1 to be renamed "ABAN8")

Unfortunately Access SQL doesn't support Rename of fields like Oracle and a
few others. There may be a way using VBA, but I don't know it.
