Hi,
I heard rumors that I can change my e-mail associated to my MSN account,
so I will not lose my contact list.
However, I tried to google and to find this option in my Windows Live
Messenger.
Is there a way to achieve this?

Thank you in advance.
Bye,

You cannot change your .Net Passport associated with your MSN account.
But what you could do is back up your contacts (Contact List -> Contacts
-> Save Instant Messaging Contacts), make a new .Net Passport and then
import your contacts to the new .Net Passport (Contact List -> Contacts
-> Import Instant Messaging Contacts).

Greetings,

Yes you can. All your settings and contacts will be transferred over -but- this only works
if it isn't a @msn or @hotmail Passport and went through the MSN Passport account sign up at
some point.

The link is here:
https://accountservices.passport.net/uiChangeName.srf?lc=1033
(if you get redirected to account.live.com then your account doesn't apply).

The functionality is supposed to be coming back in the future for all accounts though if you
can hold off for now. Otherwise you'll have to export your contacts and import them into a
new account.
