Change Domain

Nicholas Dahlberg

Hi all i'm having a problem hopefully someone can help me
with. We used to have a domian name of tecg.com and that
is how our DNS and Active Directory are setup. We no
longer have tecg.com and now have tecgpc.com and I need
to change this on the Domain controler. I have 2 domain
controlers in 2 diff locations, how would I go about
doing this? Thanks for any help.

Changing your AD domain name is no simple task. Why do you need to do this?

keep everything uniform. Why is this such a big task? Are
there any major risks? Do people not do this kind of
thing all the time?

No - people don't. It essentially requires rebuilding/reinstalling your
whole AD domain. W2003 makes this easier, from what I understand.
