Change domain names with W2K3

Okay, I know this is pretty absurd, but is it possible to
change a domain name once AD has been deployed? I have
W2K3 AD fully installed and running but am having some DNS
issues that can only point me to moving to a disjointed
namespace.

Maybe before You go for domain rename You will describe Your problem -
maybe this can be solved in other way

Do you mean a single-label domain name? Not sure how a disjointed name
space is going to cause you problems. But that begs the question: what
problems are you having?
