Change Default worksheet

Hi Peter
for a specific workbook you can use the workbook_open event. e.g.
Private Sub Workbook_Open()
Worksheets("Sheet3").Activate
End Sub

If you have a file in the XLSTART directory, other then personal.xls, excel will use this as the default file when you start excel.

This folder is usually in C:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office/XLSTART.

Also, try searching on "startup folders" in Excel help. Excel 97 has a help file titled "Control what happens when you start Microsoft Excel" which should be useful. It mentions that if you don't want to put your file in the XLSTART directory you can instead put a shortcut there.
